Rainy Days & Rainbows {Freebie}

I have something really fun this week, I am super excited about this week's freebie. It's another collab - this time with JW Digi-Scraps!

This week I am releasing a mini called "Rainy Days" I also have a coordinating mini "Rainbows" in my store at Stuff to scrap, as well as a set of 12 solid cardstocks that coordinate with both mini's. Janice has the same deal, only she's releasing her Rainbows kit as a freebie this week.

Easing back in

Funny how even ust a few days away can feel like an eternity! I feel so out of the loop, so behind and so bogged down. I cleaned my inbox from 132 to 89 emails that need to be dealt with, so if you're waiting to hear from me - in the next day or two I will be back on my feet!



I don't have anything new for you this week (I do for next week though!) but I wanted to share some fun stuff going on though...

I can't believe it's been a year! A wonderful, wonderful year of marriage! I'm still not used to the new last name, and have to think twice before responding to the "Mrs. Krueger's" I hear around but I'm sure eventually, I won't even remember being a Miss....

A few weeks ago, I joked with Mike that we should make each other gifts, since the first anniversary is known as the "paper" anniversary. Of course, I made him something - and he surprised me and made me something too (despite his bad attitude about it back then!)

I thought I'd share his gift first, then mine!

Mike digi-scrapbooked a page of wedding pictures for me! It's just the right size for the computer desktop screen too! Not only did he make a gift for me, but he took the time to explore my #1 hobby and created something I will always cherish! I love what he wrote on it too - "The first of many happy years together... ...as husband and wife... ...and soulmates..."

I took a slightly different direction with my gift. Over the last year I have been jotting down reasons that I love Mike. From his wonderful eyes, to the days he packs my lunch for me and everything in between. I had my handwriting made into a font, and typed them all up, cut them into pieces and stuck them in a cookie jar! I found this adorable monkey and decorated him to make him a love monkey - now, every day Mike can pull out a reason I love him and hopefully it will put a big smile on his face! Here's Mr. Love Monkey, the reasons inside are between Mike and I!

Scrap App

I recently picked up Scrapbook Etc.'s Scrap App for iPhone (and iPod touch). It leaves a little something to be desired, but is fun nonetheless.

Here is a page I created with it -

There are a number of fun papers, but the only options are to add plain text and one photo. The "We are Family" on this page was part of the paper. I wish I could use elements, and alphas - guess I'll have to wait for Coolibah to get the full scrap-on-the-go experience.

Also, for Scrap App to run you need to be connected to wi-fi (or have a data-plan) which means that I can't use it for what I wanted - I wanted to play with pictures on break at work or while waiting around at the doctors office. There is no need to be online though, as you are using things that are downloaded into the app.

On a more positive note, there are page sketches, color pallates and fun papers to get inspiration from. and with it, I can make my phone look like it belongs to a scrapper - which it does!

I give Scrap App 2 stars. For what it's worth!

I keep forgetting to introduce my new CT members! So, now I will!



I'm Amber, a Stay at home Mother of one boy (9 months) and Wife to my loving and supportive Husband. I started paper scrapping and stamping about 8 years ago and just switched to digital a few months ago. I just got frustrated with the hassle of dealing with paper scrapping supplies (I still have them though...). I love to collect fonts, Photoshop actions (that work in PSE as that's what I use), and digi-scrap supplies! On the rare occasion that I'm not doing something on the computer or taking care of my family, I like to read, watch movies or play Wii.

I am a 47 yr old mother of 4 (3 daughters aged 24, 22 and 18 and 1 son aged 20) and have been married to my high school sweetheart for nearly 27 yrs. I work full time as an RN case manager for our hospital's home health department in central Ohio. I've been scrapping for the past 10 years, but only began digiscrapping in early 2008. I have fallen in love with digiscrapping and don't think I'll be returning to paper scrapping again. Most of my photos are in the pre-digital form, but I've been slowly scanning and using them in digiscrapping. I hope to showcase how old photos can be used with new kits.

My name is Noelle, I'm a Daughter, a sister, a wife and a mom. I have been married to my wonderful Fireman husband for 15 years YEA! We have a 13 year old Daughter Chawndell who has Special Needs. She is the Light in our Life's! I started Digi Scraping about 8 months ago and I'm so addicted! I love this scrap community I have found. I work in the School District so lucky me I'm off for the Summer. As a family we enjoy all things outdoors. With our daughter having special needs we have joined the Special Olympics family, my husband coaches, and we feel this is our calling in life.
