Journal Camp

I’m one of the sponsors for Journal Camp, hosted by Skribbler Nani on her blog The Chronicles of Nani.

You’re probably asking, “What’s Journal Camp?” Journal Camp is a five-week tutorial, a comprehensive tutorial, that Nani wrote to help people journal or journal better and she’s offering it on her blog for free!

Today is the “pre-camp meeting.” That’s the blog post where she tells you a little bit about Journal Camp and how you can play along. Every Tuesday until June 1, there will be another tutorial, starting with really simple journaling next week and ending up with scrapping pages without pictures on June 1. Every week has freebies and an exercise using that week’s lesson. There are posting bonuses for the lesson layouts and random prize drawings. I don't think I blogged here about this, buy my little man had a hernia, and a couple of weeks ago we had to go in for surgery to have it removed. I had a hard time finding a kit that would work well. Sure, there were lots of owie kits, but none that really sung 'hospital visit" to me....so, I made one. My little man was the inspiration behind this kit. He helped me pick colors and even some of the elements! The Skribblers did some amazing work with this kit! The kit is available at both DSI and DSS.

And I did a special add on for this kit, I call it "The Cast" The Cast is available separately from the kit.

Template Toolbox

Scrappy Skribbles has a new product out today, who is Scrappy Skribbles? Well, Nibbles Skribbles + Scrappy Cocoa = Scrappy Skribbles. The new products is something we like to call the Template toolbox, and this box is jam-packed with 16 CU friendly page templates! This month, the theme is Blockus and Typus - I'll let you decide what that means! Here are a few layouts by the Skribbles showing off these templates. The Toolbox is available at DSS and DSI and Steph's stores too!

Updates and a Freebie

I'm like the Freebie Queen this month! I have yet another mini kit freebie for you all! While I'm on the topic of freebies....I'm getting real close to 300 fans on Facebook, and when I get there there will be a goodie for all - so if you're not a fan, you should be!

Next, I was RAK'd a few days or weeks ago by JayaPrem's Hangout with her beautiful kit, All About Me! I scrapped a layout with it for the April Template Challenge at DSI! I loved the template!

I also won a great little set from Simply.Scraps on facebook this week. I haven't gotten to play with it yet, but check it out!

As I was peeking at this month's challenges, I saw the colors for the color challenge and got right to work! I loved them! I created this little mini, which I let my husband name. Floofy Marshmallow Bird is available in the forum at DSI! Free for the month of April! Click it to go there!

Last but not least, I have an awesome product coming out this week with Scrappy Cocoa! It's something new for both of us!
