If you haven't heard about
Pinterest, you're missing out! Or, maybe you're not. It's inspiring and time consuming all at the same time....I've gotten a few great ideas from there, and thought I'd share with you some of the projects I've done lately.
First up, I made soccer ball cookies for my son's soccer team's last game (tomorrow) I got lots of tips and tricks for icing them from Pinterest, although I cheated and used Wilson's Cookie Icing (which worked great) instead of making my own.
I whipped up this adorable Halloween costume for little baby Skribbles. I found instructions for the
Mummy Onesie and
Leg Warmers on Pinterest and made the hat out of the leftover socks (I do plan to buy another pair to show a step-by-step of how I did it).
I also whipped together this little
diaper and wipes pouch. It's great in the diaper bag and moves into my purse easily for quick trips out!
I found a
cute printable chore chart and framed it in an Ikea Frame. We use markers to mark off our tasks and write in an award for the week (Either extra Wii time or Money, his choice)
Adam had a Lego Birthday (I got lots of ideas for the party on Pinterest, you can see my ideas
here) I did make him a little banner for his bedroom door though!
This is a standard soap dispenser that you buy for $1-2 at target and refill. I
spray painted it brown (although next time, I might splurge on one with a clear top so I didn't have to see the paint chip off after a few uses). I Mod-Podged the monkey on it to match the nursery. The monkey is by
Americo.
And this last one isn't a Pinterest project, but rather one of my own! I used the steps I
posted about here and make a piece of Monkey wall art for the nursery! I think it's cute, baby does too!
