A few things I've been doing

If you haven't heard about Pinterest, you're missing out! Or, maybe you're not. It's inspiring and time consuming all at the same time....I've gotten a few great ideas from there, and thought I'd share with you some of the projects I've done lately.

First up, I made soccer ball cookies for my son's soccer team's last game (tomorrow) I got lots of tips and tricks for icing them from Pinterest, although I cheated and used Wilson's Cookie Icing (which worked great) instead of making my own.

I whipped up this adorable Halloween costume for little baby Skribbles. I found instructions for the Mummy Onesie and Leg Warmers on Pinterest and made the hat out of the leftover socks (I do plan to buy another pair to show a step-by-step of how I did it).

I also whipped together this little diaper and wipes pouch. It's great in the diaper bag and moves into my purse easily for quick trips out!

I found a cute printable chore chart and framed it in an Ikea Frame. We use markers to mark off our tasks and write in an award for the week (Either extra Wii time or Money, his choice)

Adam had a Lego Birthday (I got lots of ideas for the party on Pinterest, you can see my ideas here) I did make him a little banner for his bedroom door though!

This is a standard soap dispenser that you buy for $1-2 at target and refill. I spray painted it brown (although next time, I might splurge on one with a clear top so I didn't have to see the paint chip off after a few uses). I Mod-Podged the monkey on it to match the nursery. The monkey is by Americo.

And this last one isn't a Pinterest project, but rather one of my own! I used the steps I posted about here and make a piece of Monkey wall art for the nursery! I think it's cute, baby does too!

Feel free to email me at nibblesskribbles@Gmail.com if you'd like a Pinterest invitation, and feel free to check out all of my pinned inspiration!

Along Came a Spider {Freebies x 2}

I am super excited to share my newest kit with you, a collab with Scrappy Cocoa! It's called Along Came a Spider and I love every bit of this creepy, vintage-y kit (well, except the spiders - I'm really not a fan!). Not only is there a gorgeous kit to be had, but there are solids, clusters, quick pages, and add on and even a bundle! Check it out! Oh, and it's on mega sale too (50% off or so)!

And, through the 15th of this month, Steph is the featured designer over at theStudio and you know what that means? Freebies! We're offering the Add On for this fun Halloween kit FREE! And, you even have a chance to win the full kit just by creating a layout!

Check out the Add On and then head to the forum to get it!

I also wanted to show you some AMAZING layouts by the Skribblers....they rocked this kit!

Hello Fall!

As fall approaches (in some parts of the world) adorable photos tend to fill up our cameras! Leaves, pumpkins, trips to the orchard, festivals and more! I created Hello Fall with all of those photos in mind, and I went crazy! Check out this adorable fall kit and all of the add ons (and if you love it as much as I do, you'll want to check out the bundle too)! (And keep your eye on theStudio newsletter on Saturday for a little freebie from this kit)!

And, last week Scrappy Cocoa released her fall kit, Falling, it's a little richer and less whimsical than mine, but coordinates beautifully! If you're in need of extra fall fun in your scrap kit collection, you'll want to check out this deal - snag both kits at the same time and save $2! (And right now, with collabs on sale at theStudio, you'll get this duo even cheaper!)

And check out some gorgeous layouts done by The Skribblers and a couple guest Skribblers! I just love how different all of the layouts look, using the same kit!

Out With the Old....

To make room in my store for some new and fun products I have in mind, I figured I should clean out some of the old stuff. So, I'm having a retirement sale! The following products are all 60% off through the end of the month (making most around or less than $1!) So, hurry over to theStudio and pick up anything you might not have yet! And keep your eyes right here for some new stuff coming very soon! Also, I apologize these images aren't lined up all pretty-like and look wonky....blogger just isn't cooperating with me today, and I'm far to lazy to figure out what I did wrong! They should all be linked though!

Hello! Meet my little guy, a challenge & a {Freebie}

Well hello there! I know, I've been gone forever, but with very good reason! After a super stressful spring and too much time spent in the hospital due to a complicated pregnancy, Baby Skribbles (aka Alexander) finally arrived a few weeks early on June 9, 2011. He's a happy, healthy cutie! He loves snuggles and I'm more than happy to oblige! It's been quite an adjustment for me going from 1 kid to 2 kids! Especially in the middle of a busy and hot summer! But, as fall approaches, my oldest son, Adam, will be starting Kindergarten and I will have a little more time on my hands!

{June 9}

{July 4}

{August 16}

I've truly missed scrapping and designing (in fact, my poor second child doesn't have a single page scrapped of him!) and am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things! To kick things back off, I thought jumping in for theStudio's Birthday Bash would be just the way to to do so!

There are tons of activities going on in the forum, our Next Designer Contest is starting up as is the Next Layout Artist and Next Hybrid Artist contests - which are so fun to watch! I'm even hosting a challenge that includes a freebie! I'm hosting the Member Mega challenge - so come over and join me in making a mini kit or creating a layout using a mini kit that's been created! Here's a little peek at my contribution, which is available free over at theStudio.

It will still be slow going for me for the next couple of weeks as I adjust to yet another big life change, with my older son going off to school (yep, I'll be the crying mom), but you should be seeing more of me here as the seasons change!

Glad to be back!

Manda
