theStudio Christmas Carol Blog Hop

It's that time of year again! theStudio designers have come together once again for the Annual Christmas Carol Blog Hop! This is one of my favorite Blog Hops every year because everyone does their own thing! If you hit all of the stops you'll collect 21 mini kits! All holiday themed, all unique!

This year, instead of a traditional carol, I chose the song "I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas! I think this song is so fun, and it has become part of a fun family tradition. It must have been 4 or 5 years ago the first time I heard this song. My husband and I were just arriving at our destination when it came on. I was laughing so hard at a Christmas song about a hippopotamus...we sat in the car while the song finished. We must have heard it a few more times that year....the following Christmas we would turn on the holiday music in the car, and wait and wait for the day we'd hear this song play! Now it's become a fun game for our son as well. No matter where we are, how much of a hurry we're in or what else we have to do, we always stop to listen if the hippo song comes on!
