Rainbows of Hope Charity Kit

Hey all! I have a charity kit to tell you about:

This kit is a collaborative effort by several Stuff to Scrap designers for the benefit of the American Cancer Society. Although I wasn't able to find the time to contribute, I thought I would tell you all about this great effort! The rainbow pallette includes colors to promote awareness for all types of cancer. So whether you have lost someone to this disease, love someone fighting the disease, are fighting yourself, or are a cancer survivor, there are colors and awareness ribbons for you.

All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life.

Wanna Win Picking Perfect Pumpkins?

(Terri M from Hawaii.....email me when you see this! I have a coupon waiting for you!)

First, I want to thank all of you who have left comments since my last post. It's much appreciated. As soon as this post is made, I'm off to check and see if love was left for my lovely team as well :). I truly love designing and sharing with everyone, but as you often hear, it's hard to put all the work in without a single thanks. I didn't realize how far a Thank You went until I started designing and giving freebies. I've gotten much better, but I'm not perfect either (especially when I use my google reader! Bad Manda!)

Reminder: The kit, Quick Pages and Cardstock are all on sale for 30% off through Sunday, and if you scroll down you can grab the Add-On free until then too!

Anyways, this post isn't about all that - this post is abotu WINNING my new kit Picking Perfect Pumpkins. All you have to do is Blog about it! Click here for more details!

Picking Perfect Pumpkins CT Freebies

I hate to have to post this, but I was really disappointed today. The sheer number of downloads to comments on this Add-On is the worst I have ever seen. I received 2 whole comments and almost 600 downloads....that math doesn't add up. So, TerriM (from HI) and Cherbear - email me so I can hook you up with the entire Picking Perfect Pumkins kit! Thanks for your sweet comments today!

Sometime in the next day or so my CT will have some additional freebies for this kit for you, please be sure to thank them for their time. Click their previews to get their great freebies!

Steph has a Quick Page - but I don't have a preview for you... :D

Help A Girl Out!

For the past years and years I have hosted my photos at Kodak Gallery, and pay for their Gallery Premiere site, which provides me with a free photo site. What I love most about it is how userfriendly it is on both ends. Uploading and publishing are a snap, and for my friends and family checking out the photos it's just as easy.

These two things are very important to me. Many of the people visiting and looking at our photos are grandparents and other people who are not computer people at all. So a very easy to navigate site is important.

Here's my problem. Starting October 17 - Kodak will no longer be offering their Gallery Web sites. They have changed a lot of things on their site, and removing this option was one of them. I spent an hour on hold this morning to talk to someone about this, and voiced my opinion - but it seems like nothing is in the works to reinstate this service.

This leads me to the real point of this post - I am looking for a new site to host and share my photos. I am willing to pay a reasonable amount to do so. It needs to be user friendly on both ends, have lots of storage space (at least 25 GBs - as that's what I currently have at Kodak) and allow my friends and family to either download the photos or order them. I would like it to be easy to organize the pictures chronologically too, since that's the easiest way for people to see what's out there. Here is the link to my Kodak site so you can see how it looks - please share what you use - pros and cons, prices, links etc. I'll share what I learn with all of you when I figure it out!

Been Busy

I ended up with a "sick day" today, home with my son who is out of daycare for the week because of a fever. So, I spent the day scrapping! It felt so good to sit and scrap, it's honestly been months since I've just scrapped - I wanted to most of the NINE layouts I got done today (I count a 2 pager as 2 LOS). Click LOs for credits
